¿Qué es STEAM?

 

STEAM is an educational approach to learning that uses science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) to improve students' critical, creative thinking skills and become innovators in a constantly evolving world.

 

The AIS STEAM programme is based on real-life projects, using a scientific mentality to generate knowledge (based on research), develop technology (prototypes) and inspire innovation through rigorous, relevant and context-related experiences that improve students' skills in collaboration, communication, creativity and critical thinking.

 

¿Por qué necesitamos STEAM como modelo educativo?

STEAM projects provide students with the opportunity to participate in practical and experimental learning, providing tools to explore new and creative ways to solve problems, display data, innovate and link in multiple areas. STEAM teaches how to think outside a classroom!
