WRO Colombia 2025: Innovation and Creativity at Altamira

On August 8th, our school had the honor to host one of the most exciting innovative events of the year, the World Robot Olympiad Colombia 2025, in collaboration with the Centro Nacional Colombo Alemán, Fundación Conecta, and Fundación Grupo Altamira.

This 5th edition of the event brought together talented teams from schools, academies and other educational institutes across the country, all of them showcasing their skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities through robotic projects. Participants embraced the challenge of designing, building, and programming these robots to tackle real-world problems, demonstrating not only technical expertise but also teamwork and perseverance.

The World Robot Olympiad Colombia 2025 was more than just a robotics competition, it was about empowering young minds to see themselves as problem-solvers and global citizens. We are proud to have been part of a platform that fuels the passion for STEM education and builds the skills our students need for the future.
