On September 22nd, Altamira International School had the honor of hosting Heikki Vartia, representative of HEI Schools, a renowned Finnish education provider. During his visit, we engaged in a valuable dialogue about the importance of learning through play and how this philosophy, inspired by the Finnish approach, fosters holistic student development.<\/span><\/p>\n

At Altamira, we believe that learning through play not only enhances creativity but also nurtures curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking. This vision is reflected both in our school and in Nido, our early childhood center, where we strive to ensure that every learning experience is meaningful, innovative, and child-centered.<\/span><\/p>\n

The visit from HEI Schools reinforces our commitment to implementing educational practices that promote innovation and student well-being from the very first years of learning.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Homecoming was nothing short of spectacular! Our Seniors stole the show with their epic performance, embracing the theme from Guardians of the Galaxy.<\/p>\n\n

From the moment they stepped onto the stage, they brought energy, excitement, and creativity, showing everyone what it means to be a true guardian of our Altamira community. The costumes, the choreography, the spirit\u2014everything was out of this world!<\/p>\n\n

We\u2019re so proud of our Seniors for making this Homecoming unforgettable and for leading the way as we celebrate 32 incredible years together. Here\u2019s to the stars of today and the bright future ahead!<\/p>\n\n
